At Discovery Nursery, we believe children should have the opportunity to grow up with a strong connection to the culture, language and heritage of the UAE.
Our UAE Heritage Programme makes UAE culture and heritage a meaningful part of your child’s nursery experience. Through age-appropriate, hands-on experiences, children are encouraged to explore, discover and develop an appreciation for the traditions and culture around them.
Rather than being something children simply learn about, UAE heritage is woven into their experience at Discovery.
Discover, Explore & Experience
Through our UAE Heritage Programme, children have opportunities to:
Explore UAE culture and traditions through play and hands-on experiences
Discover stories, customs and traditions connected to the UAE
Develop an appreciation for the heritage of the country around them
Experience learning in our dedicated UAE Heritage Room
Take part in cultural experiences and celebrations throughout the year
Develop cultural awareness, curiosity and respect for the community around them
Our approach makes heritage learning engaging and age-appropriate, giving children the opportunity to learn through play, exploration and real experiences.
Arabic Language & Cultural Learning
Arabic is an important part of the Discovery experience.
Alongside our English-language environment, children benefit from specialist Arabic lessons, helping them develop early communication skills while building familiarity with the Arabic language and the culture around them.
This forms part of our wider approach to language and cultural enrichment, alongside our French language provision and British EYFS curriculum.
A Genuine Part of the Discovery Experience
We want children to leave Discovery with more than early academic skills.
We want them to be curious, confident and respectful, with an appreciation for the culture and community they are growing up in.
Our UAE Heritage Programme helps make this possible by bringing language, culture and heritage into everyday nursery life.
Discover a nursery where UAE heritage is part of your child’s journey from the very beginning.
